Brightwest Care is dedicated to helping participants connect with their community by supporting their involvement in social, recreational, and educational activities. We work with individuals to develop and implement strategies that enable independent access to these opportunities, fostering a sense of empowerment and belonging. Our commitment is to enhance participants’ quality of life by promoting active and meaningful community engagement.
To engage in community, we support you to:
- Build skills, taking up a new interest or learning new things.
- Have full choice and decision over your supports and the services you want.
- Access suitable therapy services.
- Visit libraries and cinemas.
- Attend music events.
- Participate in community events such as swimming, dancing, festivals, ceremonies etc.
- Attend appointments.
