Brightwest Care is committed to fostering community engagement for our participants. We support individuals in participating in social, recreational, and educational activities, providing the necessary tools and strategies to help them access these opportunities independently. Our goal is to empower participants to lead enriched lives, build strong community connections, and pursue their passions with confidence and autonomy.
To engage in community, we support you to:
- Build skills, taking up a new interest or learning new things.
- Have full choice and decision over your supports and the services you want.
- Access suitable therapy services.
- Visit libraries and cinemas.
- Attend music events.
- Participate in community events such as swimming, dancing, festivals, ceremonies etc.
- Attend appointments.
